The Duolingo Diamond Tournament takes place every 10 weeks. The window to join the tournament lasts 3 weeks. In that period, a participant has to be in the Diamond League and be among the first few players who advance to the Tournament. The tournament consists of quarters, semi-finals and finals. In order to win, the participant has to qualify as one of the first 10 competitors in the finals. Please consult the following schedule.
The score which is the criterium determining the places in the tournament, and in Duolingo Leagues as well, is XP. XP, or experience, are the points earned for completing a lesson in a course. Courses include mainly languages, but Doulingo offers courses in Math, Chess and Music too.
